Gathering of data:
Data is obtained by personal submission of a prescribed form to the relevant Officers of The Friends of St. Mary's for the sole purpose of submitting an application to belong to the Society and/or as a means to communicate with you as a Member, and will not be passed to any other party.
What happens to my disclosed data:
Your name, address and method of payment are used solely for use by the Membership Secretary and Treasurer.
Your name and address are used by the Secretary as a means of communication with you i.e. Newsletters, cards, notices. For example: forth-coming events and /or payment reminders.
Where is the information stored:
Paper copies may be held by the above Officers and/or stored on their respective computers.
How long is the information stored:
For as long as you are a Member of the Friends of St Mary's. After which time it will be either deleted from a P.C and/or destroyed, in a responsible manner.
Do I need to do anything ?
No. As you are now aware of the policy, by submitting your details to become a Member of the F.o.S.M. and by any renewal of your Membership, you acknowledge the terms of the above Policy
